Is there any workaround right now? Console, save editing? I need my canal back....
P.S.: "canals" command enables all 3, but I need Suez only.

Sorry for the late as well as somewhat unhelpful response, but sadly not that a good one that I know of besides the one you mentioned :/

You could potentially mess around with save file editing via https://pdx.tools/ at your own risk of the save getting screwy (Just make a backup)

Have you tried on a new save on version 1.35.5 or later? There might be some issues with the patch retroactively fixing old saves but anything from 1.35.5 onward should be working as intended.
