@ngiudice Yeah that's what we were thinking too - wasn't sure if they could as they're not a former colonial nation. We tried it on stream, and hey presto- Cuba!

There are also the Scottish and Dutch West Indies nearby.

Nearby we have the Spanish Colonial Nation of Caraibas, Norway's CN of New Norway and the Pirate Republic, New Providence (currently our vassal). We are a New World nation so cannot make our own Colonial Nation.

So, we're currently Texas but want to switch to playing as Cuba to continue the Cuban Kuba Luba Libre - how would you do it?
