479s game you unlock nightmare difficulty

484s it's uh yeah it definitely tests you on

490s most notably on simple management of the
493s early game systems like energy equipment
496s even device usage and consumable usage

909s operate within this DMZ and when we were
912s looking at the varying characters you
915s know much like this traitor I'm seeing

922s an entry point to probably the least
926s visited system in all of the DMZ this is
929s a back water system okay this was the
932s final resting place of the war because
934s of the strike against palamon
938s and when it shattered there was
939s basically no reason to be here anymore

944s a lot yeah GMB still has a Workforce

948s but the fact that this Trader is Alive
950s and Kicking at all and is able to

1095s there's the value item type Rarity and
1097s level that can organize the equipment so
1099s when we're clicking through these
1101s different things it adjusts how they're
1102s located also if you would prefer
1105s something like this like your cargo you
1107s can do that these two buttons here
1109s completely change the organization
1111s within the station as well okay and then
1115s there's also this rebuy button
1117s there's a rebuy button that you can
1118s click and it shows you what you sold and
1120s you can buy it back at zero extra cost

1125s at all okay so know that there's these
1127s buttons for a reason they're not we
1129s didn't just put them on the side as like
1130s little hieroglyphics to fill space no no

1330s a flack issue that we are investigating

1344s potential second hotfix if we can figure
1347s out the main source of a flak Cannon
1349s causing a crash in the game we are gonna

2061s mind that we do want to make sure that
2062s our PC game plus users are getting all
2065s of their needs met we want to make sure
2067s that Mac OS is getting its full support
2069s we're also working on Steam deck support

2074s pipeline
2075s to accomplish the console support as
2077s well so uh while it is definitely on the
2080s list of things to uh finish up we do
2084s have the priority mainly going towards
2086s the ability to play the game at all in
2089s other locations and markets

2321s but enough to where it's like this is a

3422s realistic but it's truly flipping it
3424s just more to the player's side uh still
3427s being gamified on that front

3434s gameplay mechanic until you've done it

4522s left corner where the ultimate is that I

4528s health bar and all that type of stuff

4531s the inertial dampeners to to turn off
4533s you get that little yellow square up
4536s there that tells you that inner
4537s stampiners are off and you can see us we
4538s are freely floating through space we do
4541s slow down a little bit it's not like
4542s full true Newtonian physics
4545s but it certainly makes things easier
4547s like for example let's go ahead and use
4548s energize boost and then we are going to
4550s cheekily turn our inertia dampeners off
4552s and guess what we basically have an
4554s extended energized boost
4556s look at that
4558s super duper
4559s how neat is that you can use it for
4562s these little tricks but please be
4564s advised this is such an advanced
4566s mechanic that we do not even tutorialize
4568s it it's not technically the intended way
4570s to play it is not bound by default so if
4573s you want to increase your depths but
4577s also your skill you can go into your
4580s customized controls and fly on down here
4583s we're gonna just cruise on down
4585s again it's not bound by default
4588s right here toggle inertia dampeners
4591s is your option eye that Bound To a Mouse

4596s and it allows you to freely turn it on
4598s and off it is a toggle it is not a hold
4602s for the those who the the
4606s we have seen like one or two individuals
4609s asking for the inertia dampeners to be
4611s held it's not we're not going to do that

4614s that's not a focal point at all
4617s we added inertia Dippers in at all
4620s because of community requests but it's
4621s truly not how we see the game being

4625s but you can use it to varying degrees of
4627s enjoyment and that's why we did plug it
4629s in and why we're keeping it in
4633s it's a great question for for those of
4635s you who want me to show maybe a little
4637s bit more or like you have a desire to
4639s see something that I haven't shown like
4641s the ultimate for example uh yeah by all
4643s means go ahead and ask and I'm happy to
4645s kind of like jump over and show quick

4655s inertia do to the ship it basically
4657s turns on Newtonian style physics so that
4660s we're just constantly moving and you can

4681s problems that you never thought of too
4682s so just be very mindful about how you're
4685s approaching the game Space on this front

4715s damage here is I think it's

5107s accomplish some tasks like moving way
5109s faster than you probably should when

6050s refine them or change them at this time

6058s maybe even add more sound effects to

6068s pockets and where we want to push the
6070s direction of Aerospace too you guys can

6513s know that that might bring up a little
6514s bit of heat for some people out there
6516s but no it's we very much require that
6519s restriction of legendaries in order for
6521s you to design a build around it if it
6524s didn't matter if your builds didn't
6526s matter or rather no I should say the
6528s opposite if the legendary restriction
6530s wasn't there then your builds wouldn't
6533s matter you just find a legendary plug it
6535s in on your ship
6537s done and when I say done uh goodbye
6540s lunacy 1000 by the way we would need to
6542s start designing lunacy 2000s and lunacy
6545s five thousands and losing 10 000 and
6547s just make up for that and then when we
6548s get there people are going to say oh
6550s they're the reward isn't great enough

6594s it is supposed to be toned up we do not
