This is now being looked into - there seems to have been a second reset caused by something else at around 15:25, so we're investigating.
Note: we are still seeing instances of early Lost Temple Rounds. The team are testing a fix for this; it is likely to stay as-is until tomorrow whilst that is investigated. Sorry about this in the meantime!

You should allow people to keep their progress because that's bullshit having to start all over again.
Unfortunately it isn't a case of allowing them or not - we would choose to if able, but it isn't possible.

The Finish First / Gold Medal challenge was problematic and not unlocking for all users, and some show balancing issues were taking place.

Hmmm that doesn't sound quite right! If you run into this again it would be great if you could contact support and send us some logs and we can look into resolving this if its a reproducible issue!
Thats the point though. There are not multiple ways to the finish, the other path will have ended up dead somewhere. Thats one of the huge problems people have, there's barely any skill involved since the most time you can win in the rooms is lost by hitting 1 wrong path or door...
Just wanted to jump in to say this isn't quite true! There are no dead end paths in Crown Maze 🙂
