Only if for some reason your entire squad quit on you, but even then if it's a Final like Hexagone or Fall Mountain you can still win it!

Any Squads mode questions fire away! There's quite a lot to unpack in this feature and I want to make sure it's a clear as possible come Monday!

We knew about boosting but didn't know they were charging money for it. Thanks for the screenshots of names, very useful. Will discuss with the team on Monday. I'll check what the team think and what we wanna do about it.

Story time. We only decided to run this show a few weeks ago and we don't have any suitable images of Thin Ice in the build right now (we frontload about half a season's worth of shows at once when we push a new update). This was the closest we had and felt like it was better than not running the show at all!

Yeah, I think Hex-A-Gone is good enough that it can absolutely stand as its own game. There's a reason why it and Slime Climb are so frequently cited as the best minigames.

Also, the chaos created by other players' differing strategies and having to account for that in your own gameplay saves it from feeling repetitive, IMO.

Absolutely. I thought I'd perhaps not enjoy the Thin Ice Trials so much but actually, it's made me like Thin Ice more, as the first round is the chaos that I kind of needed with that final! And pausing to look at the different strategies (or often lack thereof) is really fun.

And I've been pretty poor at pacing myself with Thin Ice historically (treating it more like Hex which is a mistake lol) and it's helping me improve a lot.

10000000% The playlists and experimentation with them. I can't wait for more and to see it evolve. I know a lot of people find Hex-A-Gone Trials repetitive but I love that, and Jump Around, and any playlist that almost feels like it converts Fall Guys into another minigame. Obviously close second is Maps - I always want more maps. I mean always. But it's amazing how a playlist variety can keep me coming back on in ways that I didn't pre S3!

Beans are definitely a bit more rigid now when it comes to heading the ball in hoarders/ fall ball!

would it be possible to release minor bug fixes incrementally as they are completed? for example, this would entail doing more frequent releases of bug fixes but each release of bug fixes would be a smaller release than what is typical. So instead of releasing a blob of bug fixes as part of a major release, they can just incrementally be rolled out as they are completed. So the same amount of bugs are fixed but they are rolled out incrementally instead of all at once.

This way players could benefit from the bug fixes right away and whenever one of these minor releases introduces a new issue in the game, it is easier to isolate where in the codebase the issue arose from

from viewing this post, the minor bug fixes would essentially be like the ones categorized under "Other fixes and improvements: "

We often ask the team about this - the explanation is that there's a lot of extra work created from the process of making a new release - full testing pass - the submission and approval process - etc. If we were to release more often, we'd get less work done - so we try to update the game only when completely necessary. It's hard to say which bugs are worth taking time away from the next season - especially if it's minor things.

I'm sure there's ways to reduce the impact of putting new builds live, maybe we can revisit it in future, we're mostly just getting into the groove of things now we've scaled our teams up loads!

Season 4 is our biggest season yet!

Welcome to the game, and thank you for playing!

That sounds like something that could indeed be alleviated by some of these fixes, but, if we haven't called it out specifically it's because we have to see how it is post-launch.
