Once I connect the pc to the network via hotspot from phone with 5 Ghz band via data connection, For Honor starts up and can only find me matches if I am alone but if I try to invite or get invited by friends in the party, I get an error message saying that it is impossible to accept group invitations. Also, the NAT turns out to be type 2 (orange) if I connect with hotspot from my phone. This problem occurs to me only with For Honor as, connecting in the same way to hotspot to play R6 I do not experience any such problem and everything is fine.
How can I do, then, to have free NAT (green) or how can I do, in any case, to be able to play with friends by inviting or being invited, being able to accept invitations and being able to join matches by entering the lobby successfully?

Hello @Fabermagno thanks for getting in touch with us.

We don't recommend using a mobile hotspot for any of our games, as they tend not to have the most reliable connection for online play, which is why you will be experiencing connection and NAT issues, even if only For Honor.

Are you able to switch to a wired ethernet or wifi connection in your area instead, to see if the issue still exists? This may allow you to perform other troubleshooting such as port forwarding to strengthen your connection to our servers.

If not, please follow all of the steps possible in our guide here for PC players >

@Fabermagno To confirm, were you able to complete the troubleshooting steps that Ubi-Milky provided you with? If not, please do them now as they are designed to improve connection stability for home networks, which is the preferred connection type for our games. Once those troubleshooting steps are completed successfully, please complete the steps in this FAQ article as well.

@Fabermagno Hi !

I've taken note of your feedback on the matter, and I thank you for the details provided !

As @RisingLegion mentioned (thank you for sharing your experience in this thread !), mobile hotspots might not be suited for online gaming, as they can have latency Issues, as well as restrictions to prevent certain services from being used.

Regarding port forwarding, you will need to contact your ISP and check with them how the ports listed in the article shared previously can be forwarded, as router models each have different procedures/interface on that matter.

Should you have questions, or for any other Issue, don't hesitate to reach out !
