  • Later void levels no longer freeze the game
  • Druid's wardrobe no longer crashes when using controller
  • Nuclear Structures no longer crash on controller and are usable
  • Droids no longer push the void chest around
  • Void portal shouldn't spawn outside of the level anymore
  • Gear is no longer double crafted by Nuclear structures
  • Fixed some seeds being unable to be planted adjacent to other seeds

  • Sigil bosses will no longer be spawnable within buildings.
  • Droids will no longer stop attacking resources/enemies.
  • Droids will no longer be stuck until the object they are targeting is destroyed.
  • Achievements will now be unlocked on Steam even if the user does not use the Steam Overlay.
  • Steam achievements will no longer be automatically given upon loading a Single island/Speed run game.
  • Droids no longer automatically destroy crops upon planting.
  • Extinguished small chests will once again be able to be opened.
  • Fixes the issue where the HopFrog NPC's dialogue is covered by black bars.
  • Irrigator feat will once again count seeds planted in spots dug by the Water Shovel and above.

So it definitely feels really weird that the main function of this update was to include specific mechanics to make things faster, but even after implementing the 'speed up' mechanics, it's slower than it was before the update...

Just kind of reverses a feeling of progress you had as a player. I can collect resources hundreds of times faster than i could possibly consume them.

EDIT: Another point too btw is the spirit orbs, I'm not sure if Im missing how, but I wish there was a way to use like all spirit orbs without clicking 1000+ times because you get a lot of them by the e...

Hey, this actually is the intention. On release on 4.0.0, we had an issue with crafting being way too fast and it was set back to how it was at 3.0.0, people either don't like it or don't remember it!

There's always ways to speed up the crafting though, power plants, building scroll, shrine buff, lightning rod! Also nuclear structures give x2 output on crafting too!

We are going to monitor this though and consider lowering the length of crafting.

Just to clarify, nobody is taking the game from your library. It will still be there and you will forever be able to play it. You bought a completed game and that is what you got, it's yours forever!

What we are doing is no longer working on support tickets for Linux moving forward. That means if you encounter a crash we won't attempt to find and solve the issue.

The article I linked explains how usually very few players use Linux (<5% for Forager), and yet it accounts for the most support requests (>35% for Forager)
I understand it's frustrating to hear news like these, but making software is more complicated than "devs are lazy" or "they don't care about me". These are just memes at this point, it just isn't a smart business decision to put my programmers to fix bugs that only 4% or 5% of players encounter when they could be building things that most people will enjoy (like multiplayer, mod support, and more content).

This should be fixed now! The issue was that the torches were only taking into account the E input instead of also accounting for explosions/tools on fire/fire rod/other sources of fire

Here are the details:

Single Island Challenge:
  • The objective is to reach max level (65) and to have ALL gear items and upgrades

  • A speedrun time counter will be shown on the bottom right part of the screen

  • Once the challenge is completed, the game ends and the time to completion is displayed along with the global leaderboards

  • Removed Buy Land button from the menu. Bridges and Landfill will be disabled

  • Initial land is slightly bigger (14x14 instead of 12x12)

  • Removed spawning restrictions (All Artifacts will drop on the starting biome, enemies will start spawning as normal, animals will also spawn as normal)

  • Artifacts will spawn on Markets and Slot Machines (I think they technically already do for Slot Machines, but I am not 100% sure)

  • At night, Skeletons and Demons may spawn (to add difficulty...

  • If a save file is corrupted, the game will now automatically load in a backup, allowing you to play on that file if it is not also corrupted!

  • Corrupted save files will now only display an error if you click on them (which means you can still start the game and play different save files)

  • Corrupted save files will no longer end the game, but will instead take you back to the main menu

Buffs stack with each other.

If you have a Hoarder buff and trigger it again, it just resets the duration back to the current maximum

Yes, I believe everything in the game stacks unless stated otherwise!
