Dear Kings and Queens,


We hope you are enjoying the first days of Spring!

In June (for version 1.209), we are planning to move forward with a Community Sprint. To clarify what that means, a Sprint is typically a two-week period where our developer teams work on specific topics, and for this two-week period they will entirely focus on quality of life and usability improvements for Forge of Empires.

Considering this will be our main focal point for that Sprint, and in doing so we want to improve the experience of the player through these usability improvements, we thought it would be important to reach out to you, and get an idea of which suggestions you would most like to see!

  • Fixed an issue where the recurring quest 'Research' is asking for 200 forgepoints but could be completed by spending 150 forgepoints
  • Fixed an issue where the quest button was missing in the tutorial
  • Fixed an issue where certain Space Age Asteroid Belt storyquests couldn't be completed anymore once you had abondened your Space Age Asteroid Belt colony

Bugfixes
  • Previously, on certain occasions it was possible to attack the same neighbor twice within 24 hours. This should no longer be possible.
  • We have fixed an exploit that allowed players to generate endless coins and supplies.
  • We fixed a display issue (when collecting quest rewards) that showed the player receiving two blueprints, and this has been corrected, so only one blueprint is shown as being granted.
  • Previously players reported difficulty in disabling push notification for Guild Admin Messages. This has been corrected, and they can now be disabled.

We have received some questions about the mysterious shards.
The mysterious shard is one of the 6 rewards you can get from a rare shard.
If you get the Mysterious Shard in the Vikings or Japanese settlement you will receive 300 random goods of your age. If you get the Mysterious Shard in the Egyptians or Aztecs settlement you will receive 150 forgepoints.
