I fixed this, you should see it in the 11.10 patch.

I also want to add it's really important to submit a bug via the in-game feedback tool so we can capture additional data for these types of reports. Thank you, you all are great!

Yeah unfortunately because lights weren't working at all on mobile, we had to devise this "simplified" light decal so players weren't left in the dark (literally). I'm assuming you're on pc based on your UI. I'm thinking we should change this so it's only on mobile, and not PC/low.

What's your ign, will see if we can find the issue?

Can you verify your settings aren’t on low? Especially shadows.

We’ve released patch v11.00.1 on PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Android to address some issues, including:

• Some settings being reset due to an error with the Chapter 2 launch. If you haven't logged in since the launch of Chapter 2, your settings will remain as they were.
• The screen appearing cropped/zoomed-in on consoles.

v11.00.1 will also be released on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. We will update you on our @FortniteStatus Twitter account as it comes to these platforms.

Reading through your comments during the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2, we've heard from a number of you who are disappointed that The Block will no longer be part of the BR map. We have been amazed and inspired by all of your contributions to The Block and recognize that many of you have been working on submissions right up until today.

Based on your dedication and feedback we have decided to make two changes to our plan. The first is to trial the fifth portal as an Artistic Showcase. The portal will be used to feature The Block and other artistic design submissions. No unnecessary memory limits and no gameplay consideration is needed, just wonderful artistic pieces. Submit yours on the content submission form! The cadence for this portal will be flexible and we’ll adjust how it’s used based on community feedback. We're working on a fix for the next major release

We're always looking at different ways to improve - including making it easier to create what you want efficiently. We know what you currently have isn't ideal and we're looking at ways to improve this in the future but it takes time.

Before we do anything with memory we're working on a new memory tracking thermometer that's the first step. That work is in progress. Once we have that then we'll be adjusting memory accordingly. Acknowledged that the memory constraint is frustrating, our goal is to ensure we adjust it accurately and not have to reduce it because of miscalculation on our side.

Chapter 2 marks the start of a new era for Fortnite and with it comes a brand new Battle Royale map. As you may have noticed, the Block no longer lives on the Battle Royale island. We cherished and were inspired by your work and have chosen to transform the magic of the Block into something new. Introducing the Featured Hub:

The Featured Hub houses your saved creations and featured community games. The first few Featured Hubs were designed by a group of community creators that were flown out to Epic Games HQ. Head in-game now to see the first few.

Going forward, you have the opportunity to imagine your own Hub and submit it for a chance to be seen and played by everyone. Similar to The Block, we’ll be rotating in new Hubs on a regular basis.
