To start, we would like to drop an early heads up that the Winterfest Ventures Season will wrap up on January 24 2021, giving you plenty of time to collect the rewards this Ventures has to offer.

So far in this Season, XP earnings in STW has not quite hit the mark we desire. Because of this, Commanders will now see a noticeable increase in XP awarded for completing missions!

Before we get started on this Status Report, there are a few things we want to take note of.

  Calling all Commanders,
  There is much to be discussed in this Status Report, so let’s get right into it! Homebase Status Report - Initiate! 

Commanders are now able to earn Battle Pass experience in Save the World! 

Here’s how it works: Completing missions in Save the World will reward you with accolades that will grant you varying amounts of XP based on the badges earned during the mission. A majority of XP will come from badges earned from successfully completing a mission, but there are many ways to earn more: Looting materials, crafting weapons, defeating Husks, exploring the map; all of these are ways to earn more XP in your missions. Don’t forget to complete those bonus mission objectives!

Attention Commanders,

Last Homebase Status Report, it was stated that Hexslyvania will be coming to an end on November 16. This was incorrect! Hexslyvania will actually be making its exit on November 20, giving you just a bit more time to collect your sweet rewards! 

We are proud to hear that many of you have made it through the Lab dungeon! Keep up the good work. Speaking of dungeons, a certain someone claims they have news that will surely “up the ambience” of your future dungeon adventures. Let’s hear what they have to say.

The Hexslyvania Venture Season continues to haunt on! As an early reminder, the Hexslyvania will be making its ghostly exit on November 20, so collect all the sweet rewards before that date sneaks up on you like a Husk in the night!

Another heads-ups Commanders. In a future update, the Save the World playlist will move out of the Sub-game select screen and join the rest of Fortnite in the Discovery menu. We will keep you updated on this process.

Attention Commanders,

You all have done an admirable job of taking on your fears inside the Hexslyvania Zone! Sadly we aren’t out of the (haunted) woods yet, as there are still many dangers and horrors emerging from this Venture Season. We are even getting reports from one of our Agents that the new Dungeon will soon be open to Commanders brave enough to enter it… But for now, let’s focus on building up our power with the upcoming arrivals into the Event Store.

Before we get this Homebase Status Report rolling, we wanted to highlight a change made to the Boom B.A.S.E Team Perk, just in case you missed it. It seems Lars’ arrival to the battlefield has made some Heroes even outside of Steel Wool feel the music! The Scurvy Shoals Venture season ends soon! Now’s the time to wrap up any unfinished Blockbuster, Yarrr, and Battle Ray-ale quests. These Questlines, event Heroes, Robo-Ray, and Dungeons will rotate out on June 19, 2021.

Don’t fret, Commanders! Dungeons will return in the future and rumor has it he may be cooking up another wing. We’ll tackle that when the time comes!

Homebase is back to share what’s coming this week (and next) to Fortnite Save the World. 

We’re going to be spending some time over the coming weeks to take a look at rebalancing some of our underperforming Hero Perks and class abilities. There’s a huge list of perks we’re looking at and will be making balance changes to a handful of these perks at a time.

We’re hoping that these changes will land sometime during Save the World’s next season and looking forward to your feedback!

“Earlier today there was a.. well let's just call it a "disturbance". For a brief moment we lost power to the grid.. I’m talking about the ENTIRE Homebase grid.. We feared the worst with all the clanging, banging, flying flanges and furious paper shredding. Things are back to normal now, but right before we went down we heard some chaos in Clip’s workshop.
