Dear Epic,

First of all, I just want to say how much I love playing Wargames. As someone who absolutely loves doing SSDs, this game mode has been absolutely amazing.

However, there are three issues that I am having that is making wargames a bit less than ideal:

  1. The first issue is that trap durability is not resetting after each wargame. This has one major consequence: If you are not hosting a wargame, it takes an insane amount of time to cue into another person's wargame because most people (and I am guilty of this as well) will not host wargames because they don't want to lose trap durability. Now, I have no issue if traps lose durability, but as the 9.0 patch notes states, they are not supposed to lose durability, so a lot of people are waiting to host wargames because they don't want to lose trap durability if they are not supposed to.
  2. The second issue is that, after completing twine SSD10, I can't access some of my trap tunnels because they are outside of the storm shield. This wouldn't be a problem if trap durability reset, but because it doesn't, I can't go into these trap tunnels to change the traps.
  3. A third issue that I have experienced is that the damage that the tornadoes do in the torn apart modifier remained after the wargame was over, but only for the second wave (the amplifier wave). This happened to me only in Twine, so I am not sure if this happens in other SSDs. I have photos/videos of it if you would like to see it.

Again, I love Wargames, which is why I want to improve it by making these suggestions. Thank you so much for listening.

Sincerely,

A dedicated player and fan of Save the World

Nice post. I agree completely. I haven't hosted any wargames yet because of the first two issues you describe.

Once they're fixed I will play wargames sooo much.

/u/Magyst this is hella important

Thank you for the Tag! We're primarily looking at #1 and #2 right now. I'll see if QA can take a pass on #3.
