[2018] Keep your facts straight - 7.0, cram session, and the coming holiday event

So if you didn’t see this post - I’d highly recommend you go check it out. It’s talking about patch 7.0, the next event, and adding heroes / weapons from a few old events to the base game set.

So what we know for sure is;

1. Fortnitemares is explicitly confirmed to end December 6th. Source: Magyst’s post here
2. 7.0 is imminent, it will likely be when fortnitemares ends on Thursday December 6th, but that’s not directly confirmed. (correct me if wrong, please)
3. When 7.0 launches, we have a 2-week period before the holiday event begins. Source: Epic_Jason’s post here
4. The 2 week period does NOT necessarily mean a cram session. There’s been no mention of it in any epic posts or comments, just community demand.
5. Event tickets were mentioned to be used during the 2 week period after 7.0 but before the holiday event, to buy a troll stash llama in the store to pick up some of the old event content being added to the base game set. Which further decreases the chance of a cram session being a thing, since cram session rewarded extra gold; but had no event tickets. Source: Epic_Jason’s post here

I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I implore you all now; do not pre order your tickets on a hype train you think is headed for cram session, then pout and throw a tantrum when it was never headed there in the first place.
