This is happening to my Mrs account on both PC and XBOX in the last few days.
The night before it started she didnt close the game and alt-tabbed out of the game and shut the laptop down. Not sure if that could have resulted in anything. Hopefully its resolved after tonights update somehow

Line up your shots in the v7.40 update! Downtime begins Thursday, February 14 at 4 AM ET (0900 UTC).
The Week 6 Challenge will be removed at 7pm ET, tonight and there will be a small time window where there will be no Week 7 Challenge or New Weekly Weapon. The Week 7 Frostnite challenge and Weekly Store Weapon will be available when the patch launches.

BR community be complaining about literally everything and they get there "issue" fixed the day after, however STW Item shop currency(broken) requires hours of grind to get near 3200 gold,and having 3 mythic leads in a event store is hard to grind for...they should give a 4X gold when there is a huge and expensive shop!!!
We do! We just made a roadmap post regarding our first step at making some changes to gold, starting with it's cap removal. We're currently discussing the other ways we can make adjustments to gold as well.
That's nice. Epic games US only talks about STW when it's on 50% off. Rest of the time they try to pretend STW never existed
