Rant (and wall of text) ahead:

1) Wiped Plankerton Base

End of January 2018: I went to play my SSD 5 mission in Plankerton and found out my decently (over)built base was wiped/reset. All my traps, lvl 3 walls, tunnels, etc. were completely gone.

Feb 05, 2018: After uselessly waiting for a few days to see if it was a temporary problem, I finally opened a case with Epic Games Player Support hoping for a swift solution.

24 hours later, considering I was stuck with the SSD quest and I lost a lot of game progress, I even messaged u/Magyst (not really expecting an answer as I imagine he receives a lot of DMs every day) asking if it was possible to restore an older backup of my base as losing just days/weeks of work would have been better t...

Thank you! Can you hit the issue again, close your client (might have to force it if your client is locked), and then send me your client logs?

There are few ways you can do this:

  1. Navigate to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Logs.
  2. Send me the text file that is time stamped for when you closed your client. (FortniteGame text file)
  • Send them to me via dropbox (send to my DMs)
  • Send them to me via google drive link (Send to my DMs)
  • Send them to me over Discord (Magyst#8046)

It would be a great help if anyone impacted by this send me the client logs by following the above steps.

I get the same problem on multiple computers and different locations (so it's not my internet Epic). It's account specific for us, and has something to do with inventory.

Hope this helps for anyone else getting stuck. It's really a pain and every patch I cross my fingers it will be fixed, but haven't been that lucky.

We all know that the Holidays are tough on a lot of people with balancing work and family. It was completely acceptable to take your time getting back in the swing of things right after you and your teams return. So the community has been relatively tame in asking for a roadmap.

As of the time of writing, it has been exactly 11 weeks (Nov 9) since the last roadmap. We all would just like to know what is coming up for Save The World. So if you wouldn't mind just dedicating a little time into determining effort levels, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! I know everyone has been asking for an updated Roadmap and I'm working on bringing out more communication beats such as that. However, there are features in development that don't have a concrete release date which makes it harder to create things like roadmaps and dev updates. This could be due to bugs, feature changes, things we've uncovered in testing, etc.

We did a huge roadmap post a while back and, for unseen reasons, some of those features took longer than expected to release. We don't want to set expectations for everyone.. and then fail to deliver. It's not something we were happy with doing and we want to do right by the community by providing accurate information and then delivering on those dates.

I'm working with the team on big communication beats, most of which are nearing completion. As soon as we're firm on the release date for the topics covered.. BOOM! we'll drop the knowledge. we just dropped some ...

We're working on getting it out to everyone as soon as we can. We need to make sure it's done correctly though as this is a pretty substantial change.

But she will be a Fleetfoot. Her description is listed as Skirmsher.

This is correct! She woke up on the wrong side of the Subclass. This will be corrected in v7.30 (Next week).

Tonight my team completed the PL 128 30 wave Frost Knight challenge!! Tried posting this earlier (link to previous post below with some helpful comments). It was an amazing run and completed it on only our 2nd attempt as a team! Took a ton of strategy, communication and skill all around and practicing builds in Creative mode really helped.
