I think we can all accept that, not much choice not to. But this isn't the first time we've heard from y'all that a mistake was made and you have to do better. So do better how?
That's a fair question and I agree. The first thing we're doing is dedicating more community folks that can focus specifically on StW. The rapid growth of Fortnite has meant we've had our community team spread across the entire game. We've spent some time staffing up and Clintonious and Magyst are now dedicated to StW interaction. You'll still see Popo, Mooney, Flak, myself, etc. here. Having a couple of reliable folks to make sure things don't slip through the cracks will help.
Honestly I see why they don't. The downside of communicating with us is that it builds up our expectations. Suddenly everyone is expecting the specifics things they wanted but when they see what epic actually meant they get disappointed.
There's no downside. We clearly failed to communicate information that was important to you. We can do better.
We're here. We missed the boat on clearly sharing the delay and seasonal gold details. That's on us and we're sorry. No excuses. We simply have to do better than this.

My apologies regarding the weapon being blue everyone, I'm not sure what happened but the bug for this just landed on me a few days ago. Once this is solved it will be fixed in next week's patch.

With the release of V.2.1.0, two PC performance issues emerged:
* Game client hardlock, most notably when alt+tabbed away from the client.
* Significant in-game hitching.
Following our investigation, we discovered that both issues were due to a certain audio configuration and immediately pushed a backend update to disable it. Disabling this component should have no impact on game audio.
While this won’t fix all performance issues for all users, we believe the major PC performance regressions shipped with 2.1.0 are now resolved. We’re continually investigating performance issues in the pursuit of providing the smoothest experience possible for all players.

This is fallout from the same issue, unfortunately. Player support should be able to get you playing again if you reach out to them here: http://help.epicgames.com/customer/portal/emails/new
They won't be able to restore your inventory with everything, but that should at least get you back into the game while we sort out the rest of the details.

We are now actively working to identify all users who have sustained profile issues in regard to lost inventory in Save the World and errors with V-Buck purchases. We’ll do whatever it takes to make this right.

D'oh, sorry this happened to you. Was there anything special you can think of that happened when this occured? Like it hitting an enemy right before activation? I can take a look at this to see if there's something wrong, or ways to prevent this from happening.
Huzzah! We’ve pushed a fix that should help things return to a healthier state. This should also allow you to once again play with friends. We will continue to monitor stability and keep everyone posted on all the latest updates.
