Hey folks, seen this gain a bit of attention and wanted to address it. This is intentional, in the patch notes we mentioned that when you start Fortnite you will load in order to optimize the in game experience.

This mostly includes loading times when you first start up Fortnite and would end up free falling from the bus because it finished the route but you haven't loaded in yet.

The B.R.U.T.E. has been temporarily disabled from all playlists while we resolve an issue caused by its air stomp attack.

We’ve identified the reason for Turbo Building feeling inconsistent for some players after our August 28th adjustments.

We’ve released a hotfix to mitigate this issue and will release a lasting fix in our next client update.

We’ve seen reports that the delay for Turbo Building feels a bit different today. No intentional changes were released since yesterday’s adjustments.

There really isnt much that can be done here Karam. It is nearly the same as when turbo building and a player will place a floor above them while trying to do 90s. A simple raise or lowering of the crosshair will change where the edit or build will go.

This case would/should affect all of Fortnite and not just mobile specifically. I know you are trying an extremely precise edit, but I would attempt to just look further towards the roof/floor above you in order to edit. Unless I can find evidence that this new versus by design, I expect this would not change.

Hey all,

The Turbo Build delay adjustments we made yesterday to subsequent structure pieces placed have been changed back to their previous value, 0.005* seconds. Your ability to perform “90s” and “waterfall” should feel exactly the same as it did before yesterday’s changes.

We’ve also added some of the “Next Steps” that were mentioned in yesterday’s Turbo Build Changes blog. Now when a structure is destroyed, there will be a delay of 0.15 seconds before another structure can be placed in the same location. If two or more players attempt to build a structure in the same location at the same time right after a piece has been destroyed, a random roll will now determine which player’s structure is placed. With this, we aim to reduce the impact that ping has on “taking a wall” as well as mitigate situations where spamming walls in the same location prevents all incoming damage to the defender.
