Hey /u/yeetskeeturboi, our team is investigating this and are trying to track down some more info.

Do you know which Mission this challenge is coming from that you Party Assisted?

If you become a mod you will have to deal with me and drew. Hopefully this does not scare you away.

Better than nothing I guess lol. Thanks for the video, we'll take a look at these stingy Supply Drops.

Hey folks, I just want to drop in and give everyone a few expectations. This trello card was written due to the increase in hitching we saw from our data. While the core issue is getting resolved this does not mean that every device is now going run perfectly without hitching or some FPS drops.

In hindsight, we could have better explained this on the Trello card to make sure expectations are better met in the future. The team is always looking at performance over a variety of devices. The goal is to have all of them running the best they can. In the future when writing up Trello card issues regarding performance we will make sure to do a better job at setting expectations.

Only happens when playing fortnite. I play a couple of games and everything is fine..then suddenly I cant hear footsteps, guns and chests anymore, only when they are really close. Then, this problem carries over to other game rounds, including creative games. The only solution I found was to restart the game and then everything comes back to normal. The sound of guns are muffed and I only can hear them normally when I look directly at the enemy firing them.

I play with 3d headphones ON, on a windows 10, i5 8400 intel cpu, nvidia geforce 1060 6gb

The bug report I sent yesterday should show the bug..or maybe look through the whole time I was online until I restarted the game because as the bug carries over through game rounds, it may be needed to look the whole picture

Thank you for this response. Going to send it over so our team can investigate further

Hey everyone, I know this has been a topic in the past, but he lines were orginally taken out for a few reasons, one being performance.

We cant make promises that this feature returns but we can bring it up and see what possibly can be done to improve the current system.

Fix is on the way in the next update. Expect it this week.

what happens when you fill out the form 2-3x a day and the issues still persist?

Submitting feedback just gives us your player logs for our dev team. Things take time to fix, the feedback button is there to help us determine the cause of an issue, that is all.

Does this only occur when you play Fortnite? Just want to try to narrow down the possibilities of this coming from other applications running in the background.

As technology evolves, so does Fortnite!

The PC version of Fortnite currently requires a graphics card capable of running Microsoft DirectX 11. In v11.20, however, you’ll have the added option to play the PC version using Microsoft DirectX 12!

By using DX12, PC players with high-end GPUs may experience a higher and steadier frame rate. This is because DX12 delivers better CPU performance and allows for the distribution of rendering jobs across multiple cores.

In the future, we plan on adding features to Fortnite that are made possible by DX12. Allowing players to opt into DX12 before these features are added will give us valuable information in our development efforts and help us shake out any bugs.

If you’re interested in helping us test...

Fans of Deathrun will know the name Jesgran. Hailing from Oslo, Norway, his Deathrun maps are enjoyed by players all over the world. Let’s jump into the interview!

Fortnite Team: What made you decide to jump into Creative Mode?

Jesgran: I’ve always loved to create, and to be able to express my art in my favorite game was just amazing!

J: I’ve made a huge variety of maps over the past year. From art and level design in Jesgran’s deathrun, to making music maps with millions of views on YouTube and Twitter. I also enjoy coding music sequencer zones for Zone Wars.
