I want to say this is fixed in v10.30 but let me check.
To my knowledge this did not come from any epic employee. I would consider this a phishing scam of sorts and not install any applications from them.
At least you had the appropriate outfit for such a fall!

I certainly hope so. When I first logged in today it took me close to an hour from starting the game to get to the lobby, I was able to join one match and was then stuck on a loading screen for 10 minutes after I died. I've tried restarting the game multiple times but still haven't been able to get in a match.
Dunno if this is of any worth but when logging in it seems like "authenticating system login" and "checking for updates" takes a much longer time than everything else.
Around what time did you start trying to login? We were seeing this around 4 hours ago. So the times may have lined up.
I'm on PS4. The first time I try to join a game it just says "whoops session expired" after that it just says "connecting to matchmaking services"

All the other games I've tried work just like normal.
