All you had to do was nerf the mines and a little bit damage fall off to the sniper. But no, you just had to completely change the game. You literally remove all guns except for the shotgun, there is no use for more weapons. I have played since the technical beta and I am sad to say that I wont be playing anymore if this is the way the game is going to turn out.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I am sorry to hear it feels no other weapon feels viable to you other than the Mammoth currently. The Mammoth buff seems to be the number 1 issue with the recent patch, and I have noted it in my feedback compilation for the team.
I personally also agree damage drop off is a quality suggestion for the Protocol.

Number 1 meaning the most talked about issue with the patch. I am still going through posts, but that and the fact that the game no longer feels unique to some players overall are my top topics I've found so far. Apologies for the confusion!

All that needed to ever be changed was the hexfire day 1, the mines after they were unnecessarily buffed, the obvious Salvo and Komodo heavy overuse as well. I also feel the dtap and sky breaker were unnecessarily buffed too. Now, with insane aim assist + hitscan, every gun is wayyyyyyyyyyy too lethal. It should be rewarding to work for a kill, and now, that doesn't exist. There is now way less outplay potential with the ridiculous and grounded hack nerfs.

The D-Tap was not changed last patch, unless you think because of the other changes to the game, the D-Tap's pickrate increased?
