External link āI was totally interested in it even in those times when you had to get a key by watching HS on Twitch. And I was playing in it quite often and liked it a bit more than for ex. Apex. I don't know what forced another people to leave HS, but personally my interest was killed by ping. At the very first matches I didn't pay attention because my desire to play was bigger. But then I started realizing that 185-200 ping simply ruins my game and then I left. After a while (a month ago) I checked if they changed something because I thought that maybe due to beta test the ping was so high, but unfortunately nothing was changed. And the game is dead for me since that time.
P.S. High ping is definitely caused by bad HS servers, not by my Internet. I have 500 Mbit/s speed and 95-110 ping in other games (even Ubisoft's like R6) and quite adapted to it. But 200 is totally unplayable.
What region are you from by chance? Did you ever try manually setting your datacenters?
Tbh this game would be great if the servers weren't god awful. If u can deal with the constant lag then you will have a ton of fun
Have you checked in with support about the lag you've been experiencing? What region and platform do you play on?
Sadly it's died very quick. Everything's a little odd with the game and they don't seem to be listening to us.
The team has been iterating on community feedback since Tech Test and plans to continue to do so. We are always reading and flagging up posts with great feedback.
Then how do you explain the weird aim inconsistency on console? Or the huge drop in players since launch?
The only thing you update is the battle pass and new weapons so you can put skins of those weapons on the battle pass.
Also about 90% of the players base hates the way the camera zooms in almost like it pulses every time you shoot. It's especially noticeable with the riot and makes aiming so much more difficult.
The dev team mentioned in the last AMA that they recognize the game is unforgiving for newer players which creates friction for new players coming in. The team is working on improving the new player experience as their top priority. Hopefully I will be able to share more details on their ideas soon.
As for aiming on console, the team has also been making adjustments to it based on feedback from the community. We've made changes in a previous patch and will continue to do so.
Are you talking about screen shake? Or the kickback from the gun? I don't quite understand what you are specifically referring to.
