First and foremost I want to thank Ubisoft for listening to feedback, every update has had a response to players concerns.
So let's start by mentioning the changes done right with this update. The Mine nerfs are well done, the wall/heal changes are mostly well balanced and they addressed everyones concern with invisibility (though imo too harshly). I'll let others argue about the Sniper though. Let's not forget about the knockback changes! That's a great example of a step in the right direction.
Shortening the TTK goes against the core fundamentals of the game. Everyones playing high ground and corner camping like its COD now, you can't afford to be caught out in the open, let alone try and push someone off of high ground. Slam is almost useless now with this new hitscan meta, and its almost impossible to slip slide and dodge to avoid lethal damage. Being able to avoid damage through movement without relying on cover was one of the most exhilarating feelings in the game and that feeling is what kept me playing since the CB, even as a solo player. Now I stand no chance without team coordination, and pulling a 1v2 seems impossible when I can't push the hitscan player off of high ground without being melted on the way up to him. But when a third party shows up, they have all the advantage now.
We used to have options during engagements, even while being at a disadvantage. But now its all about who shoots at who first. After changing the pace of the game so drastically with this patch, it just doesn't feel like the same game I've been hyping my console buddies up for.
