[2020] I had just landed in and loads of the map had already collapsed. Is this a game mechanic or a bug?

Hey! Your picture is not clear enough to tell for sure but for sure your game started without a full lobby. This is a design mechanic where sectors of the map will collapse at the beginning of the match based on how many players in the lobby to ensure the pacing of the match is get fast. NGL it’s one of my favourite features!
