Ubisoft stopped working on the game. Sorry
Literally not true at all. Team is very much still working on it. We should have more info to share very soon!
Thanks for the video!! You can also upvote the Bug Report as well to signifiy you ran into this issue.
I believe there was way back in the day. But it doesn’t matter. Anyone who uses the skybreaker more than a couple times will experience this. The devs supposedly play the game everyday. Maybe they should stop using only meta weapons
I use the Skybreaker/Shotgun and have never ran into the issue myself personally.
I think all of us are grateful to hear that but also reluctant to trust it. Being told the game would be updated much more in season 2 and here we are getting only 1 update a month and season 3 pushed back now over a month and counting.... we haven’t heard from you guys since December 10th. Understandable not getting much due to the holidays but over a month now with nothing for a game that just started to grow, (and is now declining again) is very discouraging for the dedicated playerbase.
I completely understand that you may feel left out. The team (and most of Ubi) has been on holiday since December 19th. Most have returned today but some are still out on vacation. The purpose of The Lab initiatives was to do bigger monthly updates instead of smaller Title Updates to create bigger pushes for features. The cell format the team is utilizing allows groups to focus exclusively on certain things, like the Crossplay cell or the Comfort cell. The next Lab update is due very soon with the blog post coming with it. We can't give an exact ETA since content is still being finalized. We would much rather confidently share when something is coming once its been finalized than be wishy-washy, if that makes sense.

Appreciate that. But I know for me, and likely a lot of ppl reading that, sounds like a big yikes.... sounds like we won’t be getting any updates until close to end of month if not February. This is not good news at all. Especially with another apex season due around that time along with COD and several other games. There are so many things these devs could do just a little differently to achieve greater success with this game. It’s a shame to see and experience being a dedicated player
I will say the next update should be currently before February, but that's all I can share atm.
The dev team is certainly working on many things like you've mentioned (some small tweaks and bigger things too!) but these things do take time to process.
Lab updates will be the death of this game, every lab update has been tiny, idk where she's getting "big" monthly updates, December's lab update patch was literally tdm and that's it, if that's the size of monthly updates then no one will continue playing, every other game does 10x bigger updates and they do them more consistently, the fact they just said no content for months and that we are getting QoL updates only is absolutely pathetic for a triple A company
December Lab update - Introduction of Console Crossplay: A huge accomplishment given the fact this is the first Ubisoft game with cross-play matchmaking built in.
November Lab update - Introduction of TDM:!Highly requested LTM and also part of the Onboarding process. - Introduction of Arcadium: A big piece of the Onboarding cell's current goals. An offline version of the map with some movement beginner trials (more to be iterated). Huge step in the right direction for new player experience.
These are the bigger content changes I was referencing. (Edit: Bigger also referring to pushing out more stuff at once.) Although these content additions may not feel big or useful to you, they are important for improving the New Player Experience and even include content that is a first for Ubi.
Both of those could be added in season 3 with content, the playerbase is lower then ever on Pc and console so please tell me how ignoring content and major issues with the game is less important then tdm lol
I didn't say anything about ignoring content or major issues. Nobody is "ignoring content or major issues". Your expectation of content must be different than I'm understanding.
Content is stuff to keep ppl playing like rewards to grind for, atm the only content in the game is tdm, solo and squads lol we need stuff to keep ppl playing, free skins and stuff for kills and stuff, every game has content outside of game modes, hyper scape doesn't, and for stuff like major issues, you guys dropped it on epic while the game is still a boring mess, why not drop it on epic after the game gets the balance fixes and updates? Epic with season 3 would've brought and kept alot more ppl
The team is working on retention content, and has previously stated they would like to add Ranked Rewards and such. The Battle Pass for some people has been completed for a while and the team is looking into what can be done for that. I agree on wanting a system for "mastering weapons" but not sure the best way to do it for Hyper's format, especially for Hacks. This is stuff that is part of the Retention Cell and their tasks. Def not ignored.
As far as balancing, data and such take time. I know you know I've repeated that so often but it is literally the truth. Accurate data takes a few days to collect, since statistically it takes about a week for a new meta to settle. The team has been and is continuing to monitor data ontop of feedback reports. (Again, team has been on Holiday since the 18th and some are still out, so hence nothing in the past two weeks.) AA especially for both controller and KBM has consistently been a top discussion factor and is on the team's radar for adjustments. Hopefully, more concrete information should come with the next Lab Blog Post. We also plan to do a deep dive into the aiming mechanics to give visibility on what exactly is happening after the major adjustments to AA are completed. D-Tap discussions are noted and I've taken several rework suggestions, like adding an audio cue for the lock on. Komodo and other splodes are also obviously a prevelant topic. Rework suggestions have also been noted for these weapons. I hope to have more details on the team's thoughts for these weapons soon.
How much data do you need to see that your aim assist and bullet magnetism is broken like how much freaking data do u need.
I already mentioned that AA and bullet magnetism is something the team has been keeping a very close eye on and they are also planning to make adjustments across the board.
