To be blunt, there are major bugs that have been in the game since forever that have yet to be fixed. These are GAME-BREAKING bugs that many players keep reporting to Ubisoft, and every time someone talks about it all we get is a response saying “submit a bug report”. The three largest bugs in the game right now are:

  1. Floating loot, where you cannot pick up your loot after you die as it hovers over your death marker

  2. Unable to fire weapon after swapping, which happens with explosive weapons like Komodo, Salvo, and Skybreaker

  3. Hitboxes glitching out while falling downward, where people’s hitboxes go absolutely haywire and basically can’t be hit if they’re falling down.

These bugs have been in the game for MONTHS and every player has encountered it at some point. Frankly, it’s unacceptable that bugs like this still remain in the game and are part of the many reasons why so many players don’t want to play this game. It’s frustrating to try and play the game and not have it function how you expect it to. We don’t want to hear “we’re looking into it, just submit a report”. Players look to actions more than words.

Just for reference: The Bug Reporter tool is the optimal way to report issues because they get injected directly into our backend JIRA for the development team to review/attempt to reproduce/update, and the place to check the status of bugs. I frequenty update the Bug Reporter tool once I have an update to share on that particular issue. Players should be upvoting bug reports they experience to showcase the frequency players are experiencing the issue, plus it allows the team to see accounts that have been impacted by a certain issue.

Floating Loot I have asked for an update on this issue after updating the report with repeated instances of discussions. The team has been able to reproduce this issue. The workaround technically for this bug would be to loot up elsewhere, which I know is not the best solution and not always possible in certain parts of rounds. I don’t have an ETA on this, as I just said I am asking for an update.

Swapping Salvo/etc This issue was recently reproduced by our development team. This seems to specifically happen if you are swapping with scrollwheel. At this point, the team is looking into a fix, no ETA.

Falling Hitboxes: I have never ever heard of this bug report nor can find an instance of this being reported in our JIRA. I haven’t personally noticed this issue while I was playing either. I would be more than happy to submit a report directly, but I would need clip examples of this happening + how often it is happening + any reproduction steps.

I completely understand the frustration of these issues appearing frequently for people, and I understand you are valuing action more than words. Once any update is available, the bug reports will be updated with information.

I've seen this happen on many others' streams, but it's been around for so long idk if I'd be able to find old clips on their streams. Again, we know that the development team has been looking into fixing these bugs for a while now. But when months go by with no fix, that frustration when glitches or bugs mess you up really gnaws at you. Some people have a higher tolerance than others, but the longer it drags on, the more people will not want to play.

Just to confirm, for this clip, are you talking about the interaction when you finish slam? The clip is just really fast.

To me, your slam hit the edge of that roof, which is why it went off. Unless you are referring to a different clip than the one you provided. I sent the clip to our QA team to look into it. To me, it looks like they just spun around, since they ended up facing the other direction. Getting stuck on respawn points was reported as a PC TDM specific issue that has a bug reporter link here, meaning it is known and being looked into. The team was not able to reproduce that issue in CR, but if you have a recent clip of this happening I can pass that along too.

I can't go back in my VOD and clip every single bug I get every time I try to play the game, i'd be there for hours. Most people who play the game don't even stream or record the game. I tried to find a clip on a friend's stream where I know the falling hitbox issue happened, but it's been like three months so it's nowhere to be found.

I wasn't asking for a clip with all the bugs in one place. I was just asking if you have a clip at all of that specific issue, preferably a recent clip. Clips are just helpful for reproducing the issue, since the team can see exactly what you were doing before the issue. If you are able to write out steps to reproduce the issue, that can also work. I don't expect you to clip every little thing and know not everyone can record. Specific information about what you did right before the issue happened and what happened afrerwards is the important part for the team to be able to look into issues. However, I completely understand not wanting to spend a whole lot of time doing so.

Specifically for the falling hitbox one, I am having QA review what you gave. If I happen to need anything else, I'll let you know. The one clip is okay for now.

No, watch the enemy’s hitbox closely on 0.5x. As hes jumping off the roof, his hitbox does multiple flips. This is a small instance, I’ve seen this happen for the whole duration of a fall off a building.

I just wanted to update and say I was able to get another clip from someone who also experienced this to have a more clear view of the character. It's a weird interaction I never experienced personally and is really strange. Having the team look into it and will have a bug reporter link soon. Thank you!
