To be fair, I have played this game since the technical test and have racked up several wins in both squads and solos. With tons of hours put into the game I feel at least qualified to share my opinion on the current state of the game. I say this out of respect and passion for the game. Not as a hater trying to whine and be toxic.

I agree with the majority that this balance patch sucks. Ubi buffed the riot one and the mammoth to the point where there is no reason whatsoever to pick another weapon over these two. A fully buffed mammoth can two shot people and a riot can do it at 3-4 in any distance.

I've also discovered a strat that I think shouldn't exist. Similar to the invis mammoth strat, where you could sneak up on an opponent and fire a headshot without them knowing, you can do the same using armor without penalty. Once this technique begins to trend, I would worry about the future for this game which is a shame considering its potential.

On top of this, I found my hack choices being switched to more support, like armor, health, and invis over slam, shockwave, and dash, because the ttk is much quicker. While not necessarily the worst thing that can happen, I think that this shift in mobility to supportive hacks takes away Hyper Scapes "arena shooter br" niche that it is. By this point, I might as well go play apex.

Ubisoft, please revert this patch. Many players and I wanted the mine and protocol nerfed, not the rest of the hacks and certainly not the buffs you very questionably decided to give to weapons which were considered top tier by most high skilled players in the first place.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I appreciate you taking the time to write out your thoughts after the patch.

I have seen a lot of comments expressing the same thing. The hacks, in general, are an important column in what makes Hyper Scape unique, and I think this patch made the community feel it was counteractive of that idea.

We will continue to read through everyone's comments and digest them for a bit. Thanks again!
