Hey there r/HyperScape! It's your friendly neighbourhood dev team, coming to you from Ubisoft Montréal. On Thursday, August 13th (tomorrow, if you're quick to see this!) we'll be celebrating Season 1's launch week with an AMA, taking place from 3:30pm to 5:00pm ET.

The last AMA went great and may or may not have included the first-ever tease of our console release window, so we're looking forward to seeing what questions you bring to the table this time. We are Graeme Jennings (Senior Producer), Jean-Christophe Guyot (Creative Director) and Thomas Simon (Game Director), and we can't wait to kick this off.

We're looking into what it takes to implement an FOV slider on console. We've seen all of the comments across the console community about this topic and we know it's important to you. There is significant work to adding it, so we're looking at how to approach that currently - Graeme

We don't currently have plans to introduce a Kill Cam to the game, but we are closely following your feedback and requests regarding this and will continue monitoring. We're improving the Kill Card in a patch later this season that adds a Player Reporting function on the player who eliminated you. - JC

This is just the beginning of the journey for Hyper Scape. The plan is to constantly add new content, whether it's Hacks, Weapons, Game Modes (look out for Faction War next week!), etc, and regularly improve the game based on your feedback. - JC

We are planning to add new settings to allow the player to choose a linear response curve and disable the acceleration that currently exists for all controller players. The work is being done now and will come soon. This will be a first step and we'll look at ways to improve it more in the future. - Thomas

We are monitoring the overall balance right now, as it's still very early in Season 1. We are rediscovering some aspects of the game through this launch on console, so as we did for PC during Open Beta we will monitor them and act as soon as our data and player feedback gives us a full understanding of where things stand. As we mentioned in another answer, as a first step we're already working on giving you more settings to switch to a linear aiming curve and disable acceleration as a first step. We'll continue to improve on that aspect in the future. - Thomas

Is Aim Assist on Console working? I didn't notice any Assist of aiming which make it kinda hard somehow. Especially when you want to hit enemys far away.

Aim assist is a very important topic here, we know that. And we intend to adjust it to provide the most comfortable experience for console players. The first thing we want to do, though, is address the sensitivity issue on Console, as we believe the currently difficulties are muddying the waters on that topic. - Thomas

The intention with Dragonfly was to make it different from the Ripper and focus more on the precision aspect of the gun. Dragonfly is our newest weapon and we're already looking at ways to improve its performance in the game. - Thomas

Completing daily and weekly challenges is a big part of progression and should help you progress faster. We are also monitoring progression in general and we will tweak it if needed. - JC

There are several ways we will tell the story during seasons. Next month, we will release our first comic that will shed some light on what is going on at Prisma Dimensions. The kind of things Nahari will want to investigate. - JC
