i played this game since early beta, i gained acess with the twitch drops.
long story short, i've been trying to get people to play for 3 months now, none of my friends wants to play it.
randoms are 75% of the time complete bots that dont even restore you if u die, and will just play alone.
I had lots of fun playing faction wars, but now its gone and there's no solo mode...
The comunity has been asking for a death match mode since ever, and what do you do? you take it away from us just one week after going live just to bring duos... which is basicly the same stuff as squads but with one less person...
Thanks for killing the excitment for me

The team has mentioned they are working on more Deathmatch-styled modes. I encourage everyone to read through this blog post to get an understanding of the team's plans going forward. We should have an update on this overall process to share soon.

We have also been collecting feedback about each of the modes featured in the LTM playlist. I would view the rotating LTM playlist as a chance to test out adjustments to pre-existing modes (like Solos with Second Chance next week and Faction War the previous week with adjustments) as well as new modes (like Duos being a long-requested mode). In this week in particular, I've noticed discussions from players feeling like having both Squads and Duos out at the same time ostracized more casual players, as Duos felt too similar to Squads, which I personally agree on as well. I've communicated this with the Dev team. I think Second Chance in Solos will help alleviate some of that and allow us to test out a respawn mechanic!

I completely understand the requests for modes like Faction War to be a perm mode (and Solos as well). As a Solo player myself, it can be difficult to play the game without friends.
It is important to understand, as mentioned in the Patch Notes, the team learned during Season 1 that it is difficult to balance 3 ongoing modes at the same time. The already small player base is split too thin which leads to problems filling lobbies. Players dislike playing in smaller lobbies which further leads to people not wanting to play the game which then causes the lobbies to shrink even more.
Additionally, we recognize the game is extremely unforgiving with its current mechanics, and the team is working hard to make proper adjustments to better improve the onboarding experience (like the Deathmatch-styled modes). The team also recognizes the need to keep content coming while the team works on these big adjustments.

It is obviously a very frustrating time for everyone and I sincerely appreciate those of you who are continuing to share your feedback and suggestions. I look forward to everyone's thoughts on our patch next week, especially about Solos with Second Chance!
