I have my sensitivity at 16/16 and have tried much slower (10/10) and much higher (30/30) and none of them work well at all with the new settings. The sensitivity speeds up WAY too quick, and it's almost impossible to make those small adjustments needed in a fight, controlling the recoil on the ripper at long range is extremely difficult and you can't turn down you sensitivity otherwise you can't track at close: mid-range. You can't run a low sens for hipfire either, as it makes your mobility much lower as it's much harder to turn. They need to make linear either more gradual instead of the incredibly quick ramp it is now, add a new response curve that's slower, or completely revamp the aiming system for controller. I love this game but the devs just seem to be very out of touch with the console community when it comes to such a fundamental mechanic.

I appreciate you sharing your experience! Just to clarify, you are playing on console and not PC, correct? I'll be keeping tabs on what other players have been saying as well about how using controller feels compared to the previous patch.

Dude all I wanted was to be able to turn left as fast as I can turn right (literally facing a 50% difference in speed, it's insane) and what I got was deal with the literal inconsistency or play with linear for the first time in my life. Ig I'm the only one in the world who sees the beauty in running a 60/80 sens with classic+AA on, but I literally can't bc I turn left so ridiculously slow at full tilt. I even opened my controller and cleaned off the right sticks horizontal sensor wheel and it had zero impact whatsoever. It works perfectly with linear, but I've never played linear before.

The difference between aiming left and right has been previously reported to the team and they are looking into it.

The linear curve is no good because it's impossible to strike a balance between fine, precise aim and fast speeds for quick turning on controllers. The Original response curve is a dual zone and feels better with aim acceleration disabled. Dual zones allow you to have a low sensitivity in the inner zone for fine aim and high sensitivity in the outer zone for fast turn arounds which is needed in these types of games. But the problem with the original curve is that there is no control over how much extra turning speed is applied in the outer zone. There is no way to set the outer deadzone to control how far you have to push the stick in engage the extra speed. Also there is no way to control how long it takes for your sensitivity to transition from the inner zone speed to the outer zone speed. Whats happening is people are trying to track fast moving targets and pushing their sticks slightly too far and hitting the outer zone which instantaneously ramps their turning speed up to a high sensitivity and they're over shooting targets.

Thank you for sharing your suggestion! I'll flag this up to the team in my report for sure.
