Compared to grim dawn, the channeled abilities in last epoch feel terrible to use. They feel completely unresponsive.

The reason they feel bad is that the first damage instance is not when the skill commences but after a 1 second delay. The damage instances are too infrequent and the first instance should occur immediately when the skill is cast. I can't see myself ever playing with something like disintegrate if the game launches like this.

The damage numbers don't show every tick. It combines a few together and shows one so you don't see a constant stream of useless garbled numbers.
