Has Intrepid said anything about their outside of game plans for their games.

Will they just go through steam?
Will they do a launcher like Bnet?
Will they have some weird online system for your account like the Mog Station?

I know WoW is just a shadow of what it used to be, but I did really like the clean and easy game/account management of the Bnet launcher... Before Activision infected it anyways.

It seems this one is for the game itself rather than the Launcher.

That’s actually kind of strange - because from what I saw in the logs you provided, I believed that the issue was caused by a limited amount of available space - which a fresh install of Windows 10 should have resolved (admittedly in a roundabout sort of way).

How much space is currently available on your PC? Could I ask for newer logs, please?

Hello,

Six hours ago server-side data corruption was identified and corrected.

This should resolve all cases of downloads getting stuck at 36.5%.

Please use this tool to uninstall it:

Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed

The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter helps you automatically repair issues when you're blocked from installing or removing programs.

You should also run the two free utilities Revo Uninstaller and Ccleaner to make sure it is completely gone.

The 1603/1605 errors we see there are typically a previous other installation stuck, or a problem in the Windows update/install processes.

If you see msiexec running in Task manager-processes, kill it and try this launcher install again please.

Otherwise run the Update app in Windows, does it load okay, find anything to apply - whether a patch, update, or whole new Windows 10 version? If so do that and reboot, then try this launcher install again please.

When a major patch is released, most commonly it is not save-game compatible with campaigns started under the previous patch. If a user did not notice a game patch came out and just hit Resume, that save would load under an incompatible patch and so be irretrievably ruined.

That gives the user the opportunity to revert to the previous patch before loading that campaign up again.

I just installed the launcher again after these news. :smile:

I am not sure if the launcher link is supposed to be shared outside the old A1 forums? Maybe @Vaknar or @Roshen can confirm either way.

I recommend waiting patiently to be able to download the launcher. Even with the launcher downloaded, you won't be able to launch the game or access it unless you're deliberately given access.

Soon, many of us will be together in Verra during Alpha Two! <3 We just need to be patient :)
