For me, I've started to dodge games where someone on my team picks things like Azir, Asol, and Kalista. You know, the champions who require a bit more skill to properly utilize.

If I was, you know. A challenger player, I wouldn't care. Because the people picking them would more than likely know how to pilot that champion.

Down in silver though? Its like 85% chance that the person doesn't know how to play it or 15% chance they're a smurf that does. More often than not, the player on my team picking it doesn't know how to pilot those champions and just hard feeds. Not that they feed on purpose, but they play horribly because they don't have the experience to properly play something like Kalista or Asol

Is it BM to do so? Probably. But man, after having enough games where you have someone like that on your team that's just 1/6 or whatever, it really just isn't fun to put up with after enough times.

Nothing wrong with dodging, doesn’t hurt anyone else except you. Banning your ally’s champ is probably one of the worst things you can do in League, though.
