Riot Phlox Tweeted the upcoming changes for patch 11.24

Hey all!

11.24 Patch Preview coming in hot. Mainly system changes as we follow up on preseason patch but we've got a few champions sprinkled in too.

We're still watching bounties/other systems/other champions but no changes this patch for them.

Since we're touching a lot of systems we wanted to go light on champion changes this patch (system work causes a lot of disruption).

Vayne would've seen nerfs but we're adjusting LT so we'll wait a patch to see how everything shakes out

Doesn't help Inspiration minor runes as primary runes kinda suck.

Glacial is ~1.5% better than aftershock/guardian on like every tank. It'll still be powerful don't worry

TL;DR, targeting a triggered headshot target resets your auto attack against them. So:

  1. If the target you are autoing gets trapped you instantly headshot them
  2. If you are autoing one champion and another steps on a trap, and you rightclick them you instantly auto them.

This is essentially pre-ASU functionality without A-move-click, so it's more accessible for all players.

It is a full reset, not partial.

The version that was pre-11.23 was actually even faster than any full reset in the game, as the headshot auto ignored your attack speed so the animation was always fast. This newest version makes the headshot animation scale with attack speed like all other auto attacks in the game.

For example, if you auto reset with Sivir with 0 bonus AS, her W auto is still slow, but doesn’t have to wait until the first auto is finished. This is the new functionality of Caitlyn by default.

I'm at home rn but from what i remember every tank support by our internal data is at least 1% better with it. I wouldn't expect a massive nerf here tbh
