Unfortunately this will not be changing prior to launch due to my previous mentions in this thread. We may revisit this post launch, and if/when that happens we will provide an opportunity for players to change their names without cost

I most recently said we were evaluating the timeline, and that timeline has been evaluated and set! While things are moving quickly so close to launch (which is normal) we were planning on announcing on stream today – I understand wanting info as soon as possible in many cases, but for something like this since the moment was so close we wanted to celebrate with the community on stream so I couldn’t spill the beans

Today we wanted to share that Lost Ark’s recent upgrade to DirectX 11 will be available in our version of the game at launch! This means that you will see improved framerates and performance, leading to an overall smoother gameplay experience.
