With the elaborate cave systems sprawling through Caves & Cliffs: Part II, you'll have a lot more room for aerial acrobatics!
And if you’d rather do some internal exploration, why not take our exceptionally scientific, cave-themed Rorschach test?

Story of my day: 1: Grab a bug from the list 2: Try to solve it 3: Realize that I don't know how to fix it or it is too risky / icky to fix this now during pre-release 4: Write down what I learned about the bug, for whenever we do fix it 5: Goto 1 What's the story of your day?
Oh and Droppers would probably work the same as Dispensers, marking those items as "player dropped".
We had a previous hardcoded fix so that Zombies did not pick up Glow Ink Sacs, but this does not feel like a cohesive/nice fix and would like to do something smarter.
This can cause performance problems with many persistent mobs that are unintentional.
What do you think about mobs only becoming persistent picking up items that are dropped by players or dispensers? Would this break any significant farms? If this did, could you fix them? (2/2)
FEEDBACK NEEDED: We're thinking on how to solve persistence issues with mobs. Currently there are a issues where Zombies, for example, will pick up an item that is dropped such as Chicken eggs or Glow Ink Sacs, and as a result become persistent without player intervention (1/2)
Tell me to stop fixing bugs and go have lunch
The difference between savanna villages and other villages is that the farms try to follow the terrain, leaving exposed water. An old bug, but gets revealed in its full glory in the new 1.18 terrain.... just one of many bugs on the list :)
git bisect is such an amazingly useful debugging tool
That Terralith data pack by @StardustLabsMC is looking really, really cool! Give it a look! Excited to see what people do with the new 1.18 approach to terrain gen
Tried out Age of Empires IV for the first time. Having played AoE II quite a lot in the past, the one major annoyance in AoE IV is that you can't zoom out enough to get any kind of overview, so you keep having to frantically scroll around. Other than that the game is great.
this is how anti vaxxers think about covid 💀💀💀
DOS A CERO 👏 👏 👏👏👏
How do allays work? Why are frogs brown? Do wardens actually like rabbits?
Lots of good stuff in today's Ask Mojang!
Kingbdogz said WHAT?????
Fixing a Minecraft bug without creating new bugs is surprisingly hard. Even seemingly small fixes often have side effects that are hard to predict or test for.
How will the Allay go about gathering things for you? And what kind of treasures can you smuggle out of the desolate shadows of the Deep Dark?
The team sat down to answer your most burning questions after this year's Minecraft Live:
Porting the Warden to Bedrock has been fun! They can now move towards vibrations it listens to (finally, we have actor game event listeners!)
It's nice to see it coming along 🤩
I got a shiny new #Xbox20 badge on my @Xbox profile! 🤩
