Fun fact about single-biome worlds in 1.18: terrain shape is unaffected. For example here is a single-biome desert world. Everything is desert biome in this picture - the cliffs, the ocean, the mountain, etc. Biome is kind of like a layer of paint applied to the existing terrain.
I still do not support crypto nor the push for it on Reddit and other services, but at least it appears this particular issue IS being listened to. I hope it will continue to get even better.
To be more transparent, it does appear Ethereum in particular is looking to cut its energy consumption down significantly - which is certainly good news compared to some alternatives like Bitcoin.
