Generally, using color to distinguish between "types" of anything in a game is a bad idea - iconography and form is much better from a UX perspective. But it's not a simple change that can be made quickly, so we wanted to at least do something small towards solving this first.
Developer's note on the potion color changes: we recognize that this change is not going to improve the readability for all color blindness. A real solution is to make individual potion textures for each type, but for now we're just doing this small fix until we have capacity
We needed to get a few more important bug fixes in! Minecraft Preview 1.19.70.26 is on its way!
