The Wild Update for many was not wild enough, and if we had known that we would spend more time to refine the Ancient Cities as a result of player feedback, we probably wouldn't have named it that. Now we have a good chance to name it something fitting for the content inside.
A note on no update name yet: I think that is also going to be a better thing for the community in the long run. No one likes to be disappointed in their expectations. By giving it a name now, we give expectations, and we could underdeliver.
The features shown at Live are not the only features in the 1.20 update, we have more planned. What was different for this year is that we are only showing features at Live that are nearly 100% complete and ready to snapshot, so that we don't overpromise and underdeliver.

The update DOES have a theme, we've just intentionally decided to not give it a name initially so we can shape the update with the community and give a name that fits its contents.
