That’s so weird but you should be able to use someone else’s camp if you’re having trouble making one yourself.

It’s an overarching fix for all of the above mentioned.

Were you unable to press “y” to create a camp?

Quick update on this! It looks like a fix hit our testing phase earlier this month, so it’s very likely to be fixed in a patch next month unless any additional issues are found.

The below list is a collection of new, high-priority issues that the development team is aware of. This list is not all encompassing, and can vary from game-build to game-build due to ongoing active development and bug-fixing.

General

• When a player encounters Captain Thorpe in the new player flow, the objective for “Sole Survivor” updates to, “Defeat the Corrupted Captain Thorpe”. When the player defeats the Thorpe however, the objective does not update, making the quest non-completable. The First Time User Experience still progress and the player can proceed through the questline, but “Sole Survivor” remains in their journal.
• Crafted expedition materia gear grants placeholder Territory Standing. Materia based on exp...

Piano. Just because I think it would be hilarious if we pulled a piano out from behind us. But probably not something that would be readily available in Aeternum unfortunately.

Since this is in the PTR, can you put it in the PTR bug reporting megathread?

I’m going to assume this is in the PTR since I see the musical instruments sheet at the top. Can you post this in the PTR bug reporting megathread?

I ran into this issue and tried using someone else’s camp instead. I lagged out each time I tried crafting one from someone else’s tent but once I restarted the client, the ones I was able to craft were there. Maybe that will help you in the meantime? Otherwise, the team is aware and already working on a fix!

With this PTR release, we’ve made a metric ton of changes to all weapons — including some vast reworks for Bow and Hatchet both!

Due to the scope of changes across the board, it is advised to read all of the Combat changes in full listed within our release notes (PTR: Summer PTR Release Notes) and try them out in our PTR.
