[2023] Jagex Accounts Security Loophole

Anyone else notice that when you upgrade to a Jagex account, your imported character’s old login info no longer works on the website nor the Jagex launcher, but if you were to launch the old legacy launcher and input those same old credentials for the imported character which should now supposedly no longer work (as you’d expect to now only be able to log into that imported character via your Jagex account credentials using only the Jagex launcher), it happens to work and log you into that imported character? What is going on here?
