Hi guys. I just wanted to post the Q&A Summary for this week to give you a bit more information from the developers about Guardians of the Rift that was discussed on stream last week. In this stream, we talked a bit more about XP rates, the blood altar, the GotR pet and more.
Some of the answers have been tweaked to make them more readable in written format, but please be sure to check out the VOD on YouTube if you'd like to hear them!
Unfortunately, we couldn't get around turning around a Q&A Summary last week - but we'll try to keep them up whenever we can. Information sharing is super important!
I also wanted to mention that yesterday I added a small extra paragraph into the GotR blog about the blood altar because we didn't provide much info on it. If you check the changelog at the top of the newspost for GotR you'll be able to go directly to the added-in paragraph.
Could I convince you to keep titling these consistently - "Q&A Summary <date> <info>"
I had some alerts set up when -Maxy- was doing them and he kept the naming as "<info> - Old School Developer Q&A - Transcript <date>" so i never had any issues
there been less of a consistent titling scheme since the official transcripts started happening so my filter is pickup up a bunch of noise

So are you guys going to do anymore wilderness or pvp updates?
Next wildy update should be tomorrow from what I can see. Our next 'big' blog as well should be sharing more news about what's replacing the Duel Arena. Don't know when that's out yet but we're working on it!
Is that the pvp arena or is pvp arena something different from duel arena?
Pretty sure the PvP arena is what's replacing the duel arena - I haven't been working on this project but that's my understanding. It was mentioned in the Gazette for Q2 of this year.
Where is the mobile beta that was supposed to already be out, and why are you telling us "more info soon" instead of acknowledging weeks ago that your timeline was wrong?
In the Android Beta newspost we mentioned that the end of January 2022 was only an estimate and subject to changes. More news will be coming on that front when we can share it - will likely be via a newspost!
This is a little off topic but I noticed that on the roadmap there is no longer a “skilling/gathering update”. Had this been removed or is it just further at the end of the year so it got cutoff from the roadmap that was posted a few days ago?
