Yep - there will also still be plenty of lore that you can delve into to find out more about the background of people, enemies, the planet and events.

I can understand the trepidation - while we haven't yet revealed the Endgame format, I am able to say that we are looking to make sure that the hunt for Legendary + Apo Gear isn't as it was around launch last year. That is to say, while RNG will of course continue to play a part, we will have features to help improve the hunt for specific gear items.

We're planning to send emails about the beta out to everyone who got in tomorrow.

Firstly, thanks for your reply!

So, I had played the Demo when it first released back before Outriders released globally and it was plagued with issues; 30 FPS was as high as we could go, settings weren't work properly, constant crashing, high CPU and GPU temps, etc.

PCF gathered feedback and made assurances that the full retail game would have much needed improvements, however personally I never came back and experienced the full retail game. Though, I always wondered if the Demo would continuously be updated, otherwise any newcomers would be immediately turned off from the not-so-great experience.

Fast Forward to Worldslayer being announced and now I'm interested in Outriders again and I'd like to download and play the Demo to get a feel for the game again, however if the issues from Day One (of the Demo) are still present, then I won't even bother downloading the Demo.

Yep - so the demo was actually updated a few times during its life cycle, including shortly before launch, when I believe we removed the camera shake and unlocked the frame-rate for cutscenes (for example). It was last updated in July.

I'm fairly certain that most of the problems you listed as having encountered should be resolved now.

Gonna respond here out of wanting to give some honest and hopefully helpful feedback. I had the same issue - logged into techno one day and all resources were at zero and all mods locked and gone. I submitted a ticket, and what followed was days of back and forth with endless requests for screenshots, numbers, dates, names, etc. I had every mod unlocked on all tiers. Yet I was asked over and over again to provide screenshots and names of every mod that I lost (which would have been just copying and pasting a list of all mods). I was asked to give exact numbers of all of the resources. How would I know this unless I’d somehow been writing the numbers down each day or something? It was extremely frustrating and finally, like most others this had happened to, I gave up because the requests were impossible.

The system is an impossible one to get through and he very clearly been designed to just make it so cumbersome and laborious that they don’t actually end up having to restor...

Thanks for the feedback. That convolution shouldn't have been the case - do you have a ticket number for this? Was this a recent case or from sometime last year?

My question is. If I buy the PS5 Worldslayer disk that also contains the base game, will my save game still be compatible with it? That is my dilemma.

Yes it will - you'll be connecting to the same backend servers, which hold your save game.

So whether you play Demo, PS4, PS5, Base Outriders or Worldslayer, Digital or Disk, your save game is the same.

The demo was last updated with the latest game build around July (a few months after launch), so if you played it around April last year, then the demo will be much improved.

The main game did continue to be updated after July though, so if there are still any outstanding issues in the demo, chances are that they will have been addressed (in the main game) since (or will be when Worldslayer releases).

Thank you so much for responding!! I have several cases open regarding this issue but here is one of them. 00125201. The issue is the same as several other posts regarding this glitch. Any of us who played through the dlc on ps4 before playing on ps5 will not get the “take the pod” trophy. It will pop on ps4 but not ps5. I have done all of the expeditions numerous times on both consoles and they show completed on my profile. However, no trophy. I’ve also spoken through several emails with people can fly. I even asked if I was to delete my profile and completely started over would i be able to get the trophy to unlock. Anything you can find out for those of us who are experiencing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

The "Take The Pod" achievement has been a bit of a bug-bear and something we need to fix in code, but we believe we may have a fix for it in the Worldslayer Build (Worldslayer Purchase will not be required). We'll be able to confirm this closer to launch though.

We're still nailing down our next Broadcast date plans. E3 was a question mark for a long time this year until it was cancelled, which is why we haven't been able to commit to a public schedule for the next BC.

So, BC2 air date isn't yet locked in, but it won't be before late May/Early June. In the meantime, we'll try and share new things to look forward to via our social channels.

They haven’t even fixed the glitched take the pod trophy/achievement I’ve put in 15 help tickets for. They won’t even answer or acknowledge. If there are any issues with this dlc I wish anyone luck getting them resolved.

Sorry to hear you got stuck with support - can you please share your ticket numbers so I can look into them for you?

Good questions!

While one part of our team focused on Worldslayer, another part focused on QOL updates and improvements. Most of that QOL work went into the free New Horizon update, which we released last year.

With Worldslayer, we wanted to by and large focus on new content and systems as well as work in the bug fixes and existing tech improvements that have been worked on since New Horizon.

That is to say, Worldslayer will at this time not be adding In-game chat, loadouts or item locking. We know these are highly desired features, but to focus on them would have compromised parts of Worldslayer. It's often been a question of "work on either Option A or Option B" rather than us having the capacity to work on all the top requests, even if they were very valid and we agree that they would make a lot of sense.

More Stash Space is again something we're aware of players will want. We're currently investigating whether it's possible to increase ...

Or if I buy it on Xbox, then the PC gamepass version won't have access.

Outriders is a play anywhere title so I believe the same should apply to content such as Worldslayer, which builds ontop of the main app.

What I thought is that, Class specific Legendary Sets will have pieces for the 5 slots, but non Class specific Sets will only have pieces for 3 slots.

But in a comment made by thearcan, he does give the impression that he might be talking about 3x piece bonus and 5 piece bonus.

I was hoping you already knew that for sure, that's why I asked.

Hope he clarify that soon.

Sorry for the confusion.

The set bonus applies at 3 items equipped for any set.

The 5 piece sets are 5 pieces and set bonus triggered at 3 items equipped. The 3 piece sets are 3 pieces but usable by all classes and set bonus triggered at 3 items equipped.

Yes - On the registration page you will be required to link your accounts.

I already have Outriders Day One Edition. However, I really haven't played it much due to ALL the bugs and problems. I upgraded it to PS5 from PS4, I have the PS4 disk. My question is, if I buy the physical copy of Worldslayer for PS5 that comes with normal Outriders, will my save files still work with the Worldslayer PS5 disk? And, why can't you buy the physical Worldslayer for 40 bucks? It's 60 dollars everywhere, essentially making me buy the game all over again with the expansion. Yet again, another company with convoluted release strategies making it confusing.

I read the comment "If you have the base game, you can get the Worldslayer upgrade, which is a bit cheaper." No, you can't, not with a disk anyway. The only way to just get Worldslayer upgrade is buying it digital. Not happy about that.

Yes, your save game is tied to your Sony Account, not your local drive or disk.

If you own Outriders physically, I believe you should be able to buy the Worldslayer upgrade Digitally. Worldslayer requires the base Outriders game in order to launch, so creating a Worldslayer upgrade disc wouldn't make much sense and may even not be possible, since you would still need to launch the base game using your original Disk.
