@Support__Witch @OW_SVB That decision pre-dates me on the project but I believe it was related to the demoralizing experience of seeing the enemy team all on fire in the Tab menu. Some players liked it....lots didn't.
The team also wanted to re-work the on fire logic to be a bit more intelligent.
@davewburns We’re you in a group when this happened? We’ve seen longer queue times in QP for groups with wide skill ranges.
@ShawnDotGames We will attempt to bring it down for all players and should have more controls to do that with our mid season patch. However it’s harder to do that for lower ranks since it’s possible for players to form groups with wider skill ranges.
@NIQUARIOUS For all of OW history unranked and ranked have shared the same limit on skill range. This is obviously no longer sufficient and is something that will be enabled by the mid season patch.
The matchmaker had some configuration issues that caused an increase in these matches over the past week. We think these have been addressed and tomorrow's changes should improve it more. Sorry for the trouble and thanks again for all the reports and feedback! 🙏
Working hard on reducing matches that have players with wide skill ranges. We made a change this morning and will make one tomorrow that should reduce these occurrences. Reports have been very helpful. If you continue to see these, let us know, so we can track down their causes.

Were the matches super stompy? Or was the frustration mostly because of the feeling that Support can't carry matches even with outsized performance?
