@Seranuze Yep, we try to improve QP as well.
@ccfc_jake I can honestly say that I have no idea. Sorry about that!
@Ow_Poppunksux The good news is that it's still possible to move up in that situation if you make larger improvements.
I believe in you!

We do have some changes coming to the end of round flow that should make it a much better experience. We'll be talking about the details....I don't know when, actually.
Stay tuned!
@denniswolf8 @aaronkellerOW @andybelford This makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the feedback!
@aaronkellerOW: Hi everyone! Just posted another blog piece with an update on the matchmaker and some of the improvements and issues we'β¦
@MuppetNinjas It's a totally fair question! I nerd out about matchmaking and ranked systems a lot, so I understand the desire.
In my opinion they're the trickiest systems to get right in all of game development. There are no right answers and every game community has its own perspective.
@meganleigh_r I've recently returned to my teenage ways and am going through a bunch of Vonnegut short story collections.
Picked up "Look at the Birdie" at my local used book shop last weekend.
@meganleigh_r Really weird that he'd bring it up, honestly.
@MuppetNinjas Almost certainly not. I love transparency as a general rule but there are very real downsides to releasing the details of these kinds of implementations.
It isn't curious folks with good intentions that are a concern here. It's people who like to exploit/break things.
@denniswolf8 @aaronkellerOW @andybelford What bothers you about it, specifically? This felt natural to me as a player (it's a common UX paradigm across a bunch of games) but I'd like to understand other perspectives on it.
