Basically, we recently updated our system with Twitch, so most players will discover their account link is no longer intact. This is the first promotion we are running with this new system.

If you see your Twitch username in your connections list on account.battle.net/connections, you are good to go. See my image above as an example.

When it comes to product licenses received those are still separated by region, which has nothing to do with playing the game on different datacenters even if you use a VPN. You will still access your cosmetics on your account when you log in.

To verify if your account is linked you can check at account.battle.net/connections.

To celebrate the launch of Overwatch 2, we’ll be giving away a Legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin, a Razor Sharp spray for Kiriko, and a Donut Weapon Charm via Twitch Drops! As a reminder, with the introduction of cross-progression, unlocking these items means you’ll have them on your account on any platform you choose to play on.

If you have a prepaid number, just try it now rather than worrying about it. Most people except for 2 notable prepaid carriers in US have been successful even if they are on a prepaid number.

Hiya folks,

When Overwatch 2 launches on October 4th, Workshop development tools will be temporarily unavailable as the team is still putting some finishing touches on this feature. Our goal is to have the scripting interface Workshop tool back up and running in a future game update, date to be announced. Your current valid Workshop and custom game codes from Overwatch will still work, so please be sure to save any custom game modes/codes that you’d like to bring with you to Overwatch 2

Thanks, and we’ll see you on October 4th!

Second, we believe losing games shouldn’t be a purely negative experience. Competitive players should feel a sense of progression after games, and we want to provide players with the tools needed to improve and rank-up.

Finally, we need an improved Competitive experience for returning players—for the benefit of both them and their teammates.

Let’s dive deeper into what we’re doing to make Overwatch 2 Competitive feel fun and fair to play.
