Yo! Blaggle here. I have a hobby of "controllerizing" games, and I thought I'd share the one I made for myself when playing Pagan Online. :)

For fans of the quick paced layouts of Action RPGs like Bayonetta, Darksiders, DMC, God of War, etc

No programs or anything needed, just Pagan Online and Steam!

Here's the config for your steam! Just load up this config, and it'll be a whole new world.

Blaggle's Pagan Online Config v1.6

Controls :

The controllers are set up like a top down shooter. Essentially you will always be aiming with the right stick, which is most of the buttons are mapped to the triggers.

*IMPORTANT* There are 2 different mouse modes in my setup. Make sure you have the "Let's do this!" mouse mode in when fighting to get very quick and almost instant mouse movement for aiming. If you don't click in the stick and you try to fight with a free mouse, its gonna be tough!

  • Clicking in the Right Stick will toggle the mouse to lock on you or unlock on the screen to loot or aim a spell.
  • Clicking in the Left Stick will use your Special ability.
  • RT is your LMB ability.
  • LT is your RMB ability.
  • RB is your MMB ability,
  • LB is your LSHIFT ability.
  • X is your E ability.
  • Y is your SPACE ability.
  • A to interact with the environment.
  • B will use a quick heal pot (Q).
  • UP on the D-Pad will use a quick heal pot in Locked Mouse mode and Emotes in Free Mouse Mode.
  • RIGHT on the D-Pad will open up your inventory.
  • DOWN on the D-Pad will allow you to quickly drop/sell items in your inventory.
  • LEFT on the D-Pad will allow you Compare items to what you have equipped.
  • Select will open your Map.
  • Start to get to the Menu.
  • Hold Start in town to pull up the radial menus to shortcut around town. (Pick an option with A or RT, exit this mode by holding start again)

I know there is controller support coming soon for this game, but in the meantime, I feel like this is really fun and user friendly.

Devs, if you get a chance to try it, let me know how close it is to your original vision. Thanks!

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Oh wow. From the whole team, thank you /u/BLAGGLETOAD. It's such a great thing you did all our gamepad players - and barely 24 hours after we launched Early Access! We tested it ourselves and it works great.

You're simply amazing, and we're seriously amazed.
