Playing on Series X, downloaded the patch and the textures look exactly the same??

It should look better (around midlevel graphics on PC), but it will not be a big jump yet. It's a gradual texture update that follows the current optimisation progress, so as much as the console hardware can handle so far with decent stability. Main improvements touched the NPCs and the environment this time. Work continues.

Any ps5 user noticing any Textures upgrades? , so far I still see my equipment looking blurry and terendelev still look blurry in human form in the first cutscene vs deskari, do we need to upgrade to the ps5 version or something? if so I don't see the option.

Note that this is a gradual upgrade as we proceed with optimization, not a final version, so a big jump in quality is not to be expected. However, the progress should still be visible, and if it isn't, probably something ain't functioning right. Are you certain there's no difference with the previous picture, especially when it comes to the environment and NPCs? That's where the main upgrade should be visible.

Might be a bug or something, but I'm on patch 1.11 on ps5 and the textures are the same for me.

We're getting reports about this and will be investigating. Even if it's not a final and large improvement, the difference still should be visible, especially for the surroundings and NPCs.

Can you confirm that the update is working as intended and that these textures are not a bug? The game looks the same as it did before (Still worse than Kingmaker) and if this is the next gen experience Owlcat is offering, man what a disappointment, at that point don't bother releasing the game on console it just feels like I got duped.

It's not a final state, just a gradual upgrade based on the current optimization progress. Also it seems that a certain graphical option (triplanar texturing) isn't currently functioning correctly on PS5, which may lead to some world textures being worse than intended. We're looking at it.

Slightly disappointed that there isn’t any new trophies/Achievements for the console version.

These will be following soon.

Is this the update that fixes DLC3 for console so I can finish playing? Instead of being permanently old?

There has been hundreds of changes, please check after the patch if your problem still persists.

Is DLC4 still rolling out in different regions? It's not on PSN for me.

May take up to 24 hours. In which region are you?

After the update I cannot use the Spell, Ability, and Belt menu above the character portrait. Any suggestion?

Make sure all your mods are updated. Usually that is the case.

I’m curious to know if there will be season pass 2 bundle on the PSN store because I only see the new DLC but not the Season 2 pass?

Yup, in a few days, consoles require at least one DLC to be published before a Season Pass can be released.

Starrok can you comment on everyone saying the textures aren’t updated please. Thanks. I bought this day one on the Series X and haven’t touched it because I wanted to wait for you guys to fix this.

Textures are updated on the list of console types specified in the patch notes, and the textures will be higher res and sharper now. Note however that it's still not a transisition to 4k texture quality, but an upgrade up to a maximum level each console type can handle depending on its hardware.
