They look the same, dude. They aren’t the equivalent of mid-level on pc at all. Textures are (still) very poor, very aliased and the shadows are terrible. All this is especially noticeable on the character selection screen, where the graphics look like something out of clayfighters. It really is very poor still.
Frankly, it makes me think there’s a bug preventing the textures from kicking in or something, because I can’t understand how the narrative of “high res texture update” has been perpetuated all this time, if you guys knew this was the final result for this patch.
We're checking it at the moment. While the change is not dramatic, there should still be a noticeable difference, if you're certain it's not there, perhaps there's indeed a bug or a non-activated setting. If that's true, we'll correct it in a hotfix.

It's a universal problem on all platforms, we're intending to hotfix this as soon as possible.
Hi, i do get a error messages if after i go inside 10 thousand i try to enter nocticula palace.
Also the problem with saves after 10 thousand occur in act 4 and in act 3 if demon and you try to do the mythic path quest, if you enter inside ten thousand at any point, you can't save anymore.

I can pull up the virtual keyboard. I can type the name I want. But it doesn’t stick. The name field stays blank. I can’t move past the screen cause it says I haven’t picked a name yet. I do hit accept on the virtual keyboard to confirm the name I want.

I was thinking about it and this kinda reminds me of the release of new vegas on consoles. Game was amazing and is a classic now but was super broke as shit for the first year. Hopefully they get this one in a really damn good state one day sooner rather than later.

Sadly, yes. It's not that the console can't show a better quality picture, it's that the game is very memory-demanding. Once the textures go over a certain threshold of quality, it exceeds the capabilities of the hardware and the game begins to crash too frequently to give a satisfying experience. The team's been at this for a while now, cleaning up the code and optimizing, and it allowed for some upgrades on the newer gen consoles, but there's still a long way to go. Hopefully eventually we'll be able to reach a better quality for PS4 Pro too.

A known issue, will be hotfixed soon.

Can you please clarify what do you mean by "doesn't populate"? You can't select the name field?
If you're using any mods, wait for them to be updated, they are a frequent cause for these kind of issues.

I'm confused with regards to the patch. Is this one for Xbox the same as the latest beta that people were testing? Or are consoles behind in terms of patches?
More specifically, I want to the new swarm that walks character model - is that in this patch?
It's there except for a few most recent changes. As for the Swarm, afaik the new model is there, but the special effects and the cloak aren't yet. Will be coming soon.
It f**ked up my old save. So prolly not.
The only option where it may fail loading an older save, is mod interference (or a bug, but it's very unlikely). In which case you should wait for the mod to be updated.
Note also that previous version is available in the beta branches.
