RP Growth rate adjustment
In order to have players reach the rank best matching their skills, we have adjusted the RP growth rate 50% greater.
There's been some confusion with this wording so I'd like to clarify: this is the overall velocity of RP change that is being increased. Players will both gain and lose points faster now, and the relative speed of both hasn't changed. You shouldn't be reaching any different rank than you would have in the previous season, unless you just didn't play enough games. This change is to make is faster to earn the rank you deserve, not change the distribution of player ranks.
Thanks Curdstuff for making the most beautiful remastered map to date!
It's our pleasure, and the best is yet to come!
Nice shot you crazy renegade!
Pc player here. I hate seeing yall's posts on Facebook, because of all the haters in the comments section. I used to take the time to call em out one by one but one day I realized, that haters are gonna hate, while the majority of us who play and enjoy the game will do so, silently. Pubg is and always will be the best game. My question is, what are yall scheming!?!? Motor glider on sanhok?!?! LOL
Haters gonna hate. You get the best views from that glider ;)
Hi, pc player here. When driving a boat/aquarail over the Sanhok main river I was always surprised by the "speedbumps" the shallow crossings created. Even though the vehicle physics are generally great, boats really act strange there. (they come to a near halt in mid flight)
Has this been taken into consideration while redesigning the river with the extra bridges and are these bumps now gone?
We had a few playtests to make the rivers as navigable as possible. Check out Pai Nan for added boat-related fun.
Hello Devs,
I wanted to know if the new season brings us a story on the sanhok background, and will there be easter eggs or secret locations in the new map ? (i play on PC)
Thank you.
There is definitely some cool lore coming. Stay tuned.
[PC player] What was the inspiration for the loot truck? Will it change over time?
Change over time? Hmm... interesting.
Hello Devs,
Is there anything YOU personally would like the opportunity to say about the new Sanhok or anything else about PUBG that is on your mind that you may not otherwise have an appropriate platform to do so?
So you know, we as the PUBG community deeply appreciate everything you do, the loud negative comments are a few people, compared to the non-vocal positive people which are in the many, who genuinely love your game. Thanks again for everything you do and keep up the stellar work!
Thank you. (PC)
This is my first big update with the PUBG team, so I really, REALLY hope you all like it!
coming from a PC player.
Do any of you guys play the game yourself? Do you just hit the report button when you get destroyed by the cheater or you guys have more effective methods as internal employees?
We hit the cheat button like everyone else! Yes, every Thursday night in Madison, we watch a stream of Seoul playing (their Friday playday), see how the content is playing outside of our office, and then we join pubs and just get wrecked for a few hours...
Hello, thanks for doing this AMA!
I'd like to know how you guys feel working in the entertainment industry during this pandemic. Are there moments when you wish you could contribute in a more meaningful way than "only" by developing games (no offense!)
Or would you say that perhaps games have a bigger role than ever in connecting people and providing a welcome distraction from all the stress in real life?platform: PC
I think video games have taken on a larger role in people's lives than ever before during the pandemic. That said, I'd happily trade it all to make it go away.
The map looks great, a new fresh look always makes playing a map feel really different. About how long was the process for this remaster? I'm also curious if a Miramar remaster is on the horizon (It's honestly one of my favorite maps, so i'd be 100% fine either way) or if a new map is more likely but I know that's a much more secretive answer. Keep up the good work, PUBG's honestly my favorite game of all time
I play on PC by the way
Thanks for the question- I think all in, we've been on Sanhok for a little over 6 months. And we love Miramar too- we've absolutely been thinking about how to improve it!
