I have a Intel I7 10700 CPU and a RTX3080FTW GPU. I have lowered my game down to high and now medium settings(GPU now is at a comfy 60%) and still the CPU goes straight to 100% just sitting at the menu to pick which map. Anyone else notice this game is very CPU intense? My RB6 Siege is all set to Ultra and I can not even run this game with out it maxing out my CPU.

Hey there @lordxbammtv , thanks very much for your posts about this, and thanks @Reborn409 for your insights as well. I'd certainly like to look into this issue of CPU usage.

Can I have a few in-game screenshots showing some settings? In particular, I'd like:

• A screenshot showing your 'Display' section of your graphics settings, and
• Please turn on the 'Show Game Info' option under Interface -> HUD. Once that's on, please take a screenshot showing what it says while your CPU is at max usage.

With these screenshots, I'll be able to see how best to help further. Let me know if I can clarify this request at all!

Thank you for those screenshots @LordxBammTV.

As you currently have several applications open such as Discord, Steam and Chrome, can you please try disabling these and any other programs using a 'clean boot', as running these programs alongside the game may be contributing to extra CPU usage, causing these CPU spikes to happen whilst you also have the game loaded? This guide will show you how to enable a clean boot of your PC > https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761

After checking this step, please also try enabling Vsync as this can help with high CPU issues >

1. In the games menu, enable Vsync and lower the refresh rate.

2. In your Nvidia graphics control software, enable Vsync by opening the Nvidia control panel > Manage 3D settings > Global Settings > Vsync > Force On

3. In your Nvidia/AMD graphics control software, cap the FPS to 120 or lower, or deactivate Vysnc completely and cap FPS to 120 or lower

Hey @lordxbammtv

Are you able to try reinstalling the game to a different drive at all and see if this helps? Preferably the Windows drive if possible (if it isn't already) but if you can just try it on any other drive at least and see if this helps and let us know how you get on?
