[2022] Cannot start game

On PC I downloaded the trial version to test it out with some friends to see if I enjoy the game. Cannot get it to launch at all. I get the little box that pops up and says "preparing to launch game" then it goes away and a few seconds later, Crash report box pops up. Not the white standard error one, but a Connect "Oh no, it crashed!" box. I have reinstalled, verified the files. Drivers are up to date and system is in spec

i5 8600k
32gb of DDR4
3080TI

I've gone through the troubleshooting guide and this is the only game I run with an issue like this.

I cannot get it to start. Any other suggestions or should I just call this a loss?

Hey @evilducky2, sorry for the stress this issue has been. After the maintenance earlier, have you tried launching the game to see if you continue to receive the same problems as before? If so, please don't hesitate to let us know here to provide this to our team to investigate further moving forward.

I am sorry that you are getting this error and have not been able to play the game because of it. Thanks for already trying so many things to resolve this!
